Sust! Health are excited to be teaming up with Fran Wallis from Zest4living to deliver this 3-day healthy weekend break centred around hormone health. If you are interested in optimising your hormone health and are motivated to learn simple diet and lifestyle interventions to prevent or alleviate symptoms of hormonal ‘havoc’ such as weight gain, fatigue, mood swings, bloating, poor sleep, and low libido, then this retreat is for you.

Following the Fit, Flow, Fuel structure offered at Sust!, the daily programme includes a dynamic mix of fitness classes, yoga, pilates, hiking, restorative stretching, and cold water therapy. Nutritional talks and workshops will be focused on hormones to ensure that the cornerstones of hormone health are covered and that guests depart feeling empowered and equipped with simple practical tips and knowledge to optimise their hormonal health. Plenty of downtime is allocated to enjoy the onsite facilities or to simply relax with a book by the fire.

This retreat will be hosted at one of our favourite venues nestled in the heart of Exmoor. Natsley Farm is a spacious, open plan farmhouse surrounded by stunning farmland and has a heated yoga studio, warm, comfortable bedrooms, luxury bathrooms, outdoor fresh water pool and wood-fired hot tub.

FRAN

Fran specialises in the Functional Medicine approach to hormone balance and loves to teach women to empower themselves through food, knowledge, mindset and self-care strategies.  Having worked in the Holistic Health industry for over 10 years, working both in the UK and worldwide, Fran has a portfolio of work to include Individual and Group Coaching, Retreat Management, Food Workshops, Public Speaking, Author and Corporate Wellbeing Programs.  Her passion for health and happiness for all led her to complete qualifications to include Nutritionist, Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Functional Medicine Coach, Raw Food Nutritionist, Natural Juice Therapist and Life Coach.  She has also completed studies in the areas of Hormones, Anxiety & Depression, Gut Health, Bone Health and Adrenal & Thyroid. Fran particularly loves to share her passion for health through working with food, working with people to equip them to live a healthier and happier life.

NATALIE

Natalie is a yoga, pilates, fitness instructor and personal trainer. She has enjoyed an extensive career in the health retreat industry both as a teacher and manager. As the joint founder of Sust! Health Retreats based in North Devon, she is dedicated to motivate, inspire, and educate people through unique and exceptional health retreat programmes that take advantage of her knowledge and love of Exmoor National Park. When she isn’t teaching abroad, she enjoys teaching fitness and yoga classes locally in Devon.

LESLEY

Lesley is a cold-water-immersion advocate and educator! Her passion for cold water dipping has lead her to research deeply into the topic and she enjoys sharing this knowledge with small groups who greatly benefit from her coaching and encouragement. Lesley is also a Nordic Walking instructor, Massage Therapist, and Personal Trainer (and Natalie’s mum!)

FUEL

A hearty, nutrient-packed, seasonal menu showcasing local produce will leave you delighted, satisfied and energised. The Sust! menu proudly serves ethically sourced animal products, but vegans and plant-based eaters will be not be disappointed as our plant-based menu is equally satisfying and delicious. Punchy and informative nutritional talks, quizzes and practical demonstrations impart simple, take-home tips and knowledge that you can implement right away at home.

TRAVEL

Travel direct in your own car and park onsite, or if you prefer to take the train, Natsley Farm is a 20 minute taxi ride from Barnstaple Station, or 50 minute taxi ride from Tiverton Parkway. We do our best to connect guests travelling by train to facilitate taxi-sharing.
