BY POPULAR DEMAND Sust! and singer/ fitness presenter Emelina James are teaming up to bring you this FABULOUSLY FUNKY FITNESS RETREAT at one of our all-time favourite venues in North Devon.

You are in for a serious treat with this jam-packed fitness event! Let us SPRINGBOARD you into the winter months with sky-rocketing energy levels and leave you bopping around and buzzing with joy!  

Following the Fit, Flow, Fuel structure offered at Sust!, the daily programme includes a fun mix of fitness classes including mini trampolining, resistance-band training, yoga, pilates, Zumba, yin yoga, hiking and cold water therapy.

The daylight hours are centred around spectacular guided hikes within Exmoor National Park, and plenty of downtime is allocated to enjoy the onsite facilities or to simply get cosy by the fire.

This retreat will begin on Friday 16th November and end on Monday 20th November and will be hosted at WOODLANDS GUESTHOUSE, an imposing Victorian Guesthouse overlooking the West Lyn Valley situated just a short stroll away from the village of Lynton. Each room has an ensuite bathroom and provides a perfect, peaceful haven to retreat and relax.



Emelina is a Lancashire-based fitness, dance and yoga instructor and a professional Soul and Motown singer. She delivers an extensive weekly timetable of fitness classes including Fitness Pilates, trigger-point Pilates, weight-based Pilates, Zumba, resistance training, spinning, mini-rebounding, aqua, Barre, yin yoga, and 5 programmes from world renowned Les Mils. Emelina has a huge wealth of experience in the health retreat industry and currently splits her time working abroad on retreats in Turkey and Portugal, and teaching 30 classes a week at various fitness centres in her home town. Heavily inspired by music and her passion for singing, Emelinas’ classes are always accompanied by an EPIC playlist to get you moving and grooving and put the biggest smile on your face! Be prepared to sing and dance like no ones watching!


Natalie is a yoga, pilates, fitness instructor and personal trainer. She has enjoyed a vast career in the health retreat industry both as a teacher and manager. As the founder of Sust! Health Retreats, she is dedicated to motivate, inspire, and educate people through unique and exceptional health retreat programmes that take advantage of her knowledge and love of Exmoor National Park. When she isn’t teaching abroad, she enjoys teaching fitness and yoga classes locally in Devon. Alongside Emelina, Natalie will be sharing her passion for movement in this action-packed, fitness retreat. Her nutrition talks cover hot topics such as gut health, protein optimisation, and weight loss. She will be offering valuable practical tips and guidance for anyone striving to lose fat, gain lean mass and maximise nutrition from a whole food, omnivorous diet.


Lesley is a cold-water-immersion advocate and educator! Her passion for cold water dipping has lead her to research deeply into the topic and she enjoys sharing this knowledge and personally coaching small groups in and around Exmoor National Park at her favourite wild swim spots. Lesley is also a Nordic Walking instructor, Massage Therapist, and Personal Trainer.

A carefully designed, protein-optimised, nutrient-packed, seasonal menu showcasing local produce will leave your MIND BLOWN by how delicious, satisfied and energising healthy food can be. The Sust! menu proudly serves ethically sourced animal products, and all meals are bursting with flavour and vibrancy. Vegans and plant-based eaters will be not be disappointed as our plant-based menu is equally satisfying and delicious. Punchy and informative nutritional talks, quizzes and practical demonstrations impart simple, take-home tips and knowledge that you can implement right away at home.


Travel direct in your own car and park onsite, or if you prefer to take the train, Natsley Farm is a 25 minute taxi ride from Barnstaple Station, or 60 minute taxi ride from Tiverton Parkway. We do our best to connect guests travelling by train to facilitate taxi-sharing.
