We have two exceptional guided hikes planned for the weekend that promise to leave you invigorated and buzzing with energy!
Both a shorter and a longer hike option are available, accommodating varying fitness levels. These hikes typically span 3-4 hours and cover distances ranging from 4-8 miles, depending on the chosen option.
The North Devon Coast is a sanctuary for hiking enthusiasts and Nature lovers at any time of the year, but the season of Autumn showcases the magic of Exmoor National Park in an extraordinary manner, providing an awe-inspiring setting for this rejuvenating getaway.

Yasmina is a hugely popular London-based yoga teacher who is on a mission to inspire people to live happier, calmer, energy-fuelled lives. Yasmina started her yoga journey in 2002 whilst trying to find balance in a stressful, corporate world and soon after undertook a teacher training with the Himalayan Yoga Institute. Fast forward 20 years and Yasmina has enjoyed a successful career within the yoga scene, teaching at London studios and Internationally. She also regularly teaches abroad on health retreats in addition to running her own yoga retreats in the UK and Spain.
Natalie is a yoga, pilates, and fitness instructor based in North Devon and the owner and founder of Sust! Health Retreats. She has enjoyed an extensive career in the health retreat industry both as a teacher and manager and she is dedicated to motivate, inspire, and educate people through unique and exceptional health retreat programmes based within Exmoor National Park.
The realization of Sust! Health Retreats is the culmination of years of unwavering commitment and a steadfast vision transforming into a tangible dream.

COLD WATER IMMERSION
Prepare for a breath-taking experience with the ancient practice of cold water immersion. At Sust!, Nature takes centre stage, so if you share a love for pristine rivers and beaches, coupled with an open-mindedness toward trying cold water immersion, this retreat will provide you the excellent opportunity to reap the many benefits of this practice in a supportive and safe environment.
Whether you are a seasoned cold-water dipper or brand new to the practice, we have you covered. A word of caution: you might just find yourself hooked!
Lesley is a qualified cold water therapist and educator. Her passion for cold water dipping has lead her to research deeply into the topic and she enjoys sharing this knowledge and personally coaching small groups in and around Exmoor National Park at her favourite wild swim spots. Lesley is also a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness teacher, Nordic Walking instructor and Massage Therapist.
Get ready for an incredible culinary experience featuring nutrient-dense dishes crafted from locally sourced Devon ingredients. The Sust! menu takes pride in offering high-quality protein to help regulate blood sugar levels and support hormonal health. Our commitment to providing an ancestral diet produced from UK farms means that seafood, meat, eggs, and dairy are generously incorporated into most of our dishes, alongside plentiful seasonal vegetables exploding in colour and fibre.
At Sust! we place enormous importance on ancestral foods (the kinds of foods your great grandparents would recognise prior to Industrial Farming) and traditional cooking techniques such as slow-cooking and fermenting.

Nestled in the exquisite West Lyn Valley in Exmoor, Woodlands is a luxurious boutique guesthouse that offers a perfect retreat. Originally built in 1882 for a prosperous London gentleman and his family, this charming detached Victorian property has a fascinating history, having been owned by the Church, served as a private school for evacuees during World War II, and operated as a hotel in the 1960s.
The property holds a 4.5-star rating and features five luxury ensuite rooms. Its strategic location provides easy access to prominent attractions like the Valley of Rocks, Watersmeet, the South West Coast Path, Lee Bay, Woody Bay, and The Two Moors Way. The quaint village of Lynton is a 10-minute stroll away along a pleasant, wooded track.

Travel direct in your own car and park in the onsite carpark. If you prefer to take the train, Lynton is a 40 minute taxi ride from Barnstaple Station, or 75 minute taxi ride from Tiverton Parkway. We do our best to connect guests travelling by train to facilitate taxi-sharing.
